EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

The City of Sheridan is actively recruiting a diplomatic, discreet and supportive individual with excellent communication skills to fill the position of Executive Assistant. This position is responsible for providing administrative assistance to the City Administrator and performing, coordinating, and overseeing technical and office tasks and general business accounting work in support of the Executive Office. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of government operations, the ability to learn and understand various computer software, and good customer service skills. The starting wage for this position is $28.68- $31.69 hourly depending on experience. This is a fully benefited position including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, state pension benefits, paid time off and a wellness program. LANDFILL ATTENDANT

The City of Sheridan is actively recruiting a detail-oriented and safety-minded individual with leadership skills to fill the position of Landfill Attendant. This position is responsible for performing customer service, administrative, and technical duties in support of landfill operations, mostly in the scale house.  The ideal candidate will have interest in or experience with customer service, computers and handling money.  The starting wage for this position is $21.33 hourly. This is a fully benefited position including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, state pension benefits, paid time off and a wellness program. SANITATION & RECYCLING EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

The City of Sheridan is actively recruiting a positive and honest team player with strong customer service skills to fill the position of Sanitation & Recycling Equipment Operator. This position is responsible for performing equipment operation duties in the collection of trash and recyclables. The ideal candidate will have the ability to operate a variety of large trucks and heavy equipment; and possess a Wyoming Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). The starting wage for this position is $22.98 hourly, with the potential for advancement. This is a fully benefited position including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, state pension benefits, paid time off and a wellness program.
