GROUNDS MAINTENANCE WORKER I

The City of Sheridan is actively recruiting a motivated, safety-minded team player to join our Parks Department as a Grounds Maintenance Worker I. This position supports the maintenance, upkeep, repair, and continued improvement of City parks, public spaces, pathways, and the cemetery. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced outdoor environment and have experience operating equipment such as mowers, backhoes, and front-end loaders. Experience maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting irrigation systems is also preferred. The starting wage for this position is $20.96 per hour. This is a fully benefited position including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, state pension benefits, paid time off and a wellness program. PURCHASING/ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN

The City of Sheridan is actively recruiting a positive team player with strong customer-service skills who is detail oriented and can produce accurate and timely work to fill the position of Purchasing/Accounting Technician. This position is responsible for maintaining current and accurate records of all purchasing related transactions of the City's financial records. The ideal candidate will have computer skills including data entry, strong communication skills, and be a proactive and problem solving individual. The starting wage for this position is $23.14 hourly. SHERIDAN FIRE-RESCUE SEASONAL- HYDRANT FLOW

The City of Sheridan is actively recruiting honest and reliable individuals to assist us in maintaining our hydrant system while learning about Sheridan Fire & Rescue this summer. This position will be flowing, maintaining, and recording data from hydrants throughout the City of Sheridan. The ideal candidates will enjoy working outdoors and be detail orientated. The wage for this position will be $15.00 per hour. WATER TREATMENT PLANT INTERN

The City of Sheridan is actively recruiting an honest and reliable individual with a strong desire to learn about Water Treatment to intern with the Sheridan Water Treatment Plant this summer. This position will be spending time at each plant, the intake facility, and on the mountain. There will be some lawn care and laboratory work. The ideal candidate will have enjoy working both indoors and outdoors performing a variety of tasks. The wage for this position will be $15.00 per hour. WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT INTERN

The City of Sheridan is actively recruiting an honest and reliable individual with a strong interest in STEM to intern with the Sheridan Wastewater Treatment Plant this summer. This position will be working a wide range of jobs – including sample collection, painting, and mowing. The ideal candidate will have basic math and scientific skills and understanding. The wage for this position will be $15.00 per hour.
