ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

The City of Sheridan is actively recruiting an organized and professional individual with customer service and computer skills to fill the position of Administrative Assistant. This position is responsible for administrative support for the Streets, Signs and Shops divisions at the City Service Center. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction or municipal operations, and the ability to multitask. The starting wage for this position is $21.56 hourly. This is a fully benefited position including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, state pension benefits, paid time off and a wellness program. UTILITY MAINTENANCE OPERATOR

The City of Sheridan is actively recruiting a hard-working person that is willing to work in rough conditions with a positive attitude to fill the position of Utility Maintenance Operator. This position is responsible for performing technical duties in the maintenance, repair and operation of the water and wastewater systems. The ideal candidate will have the ability to obtain a Water Distribution I license, and Wastewater Collection I license within one year of employment. The starting wage for this position is $21.56 hourly. This is a fully benefited position including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, state pension benefits, paid time off and a wellness program. DISPATCHER

The City of Sheridan is actively recruiting a positive, team-oriented and dedicated individual with strong accountability to fill the position of Dispatcher. This position is responsible for performing technical communications duties in support of Sheridan County law enforcement, medical, fire, and other emergency services operations. An incumbent in this position may be designated “Entry, Basic, Advanced or Professional” depending on experience, training and special duties. The ideal candidate will look for opportunities for success, have a good support system in place, and be adaptable to changing schedules and atmosphere. The starting wage for this position is $22.65 hourly. This is a fully benefited position including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, state pension benefits, paid time off and a wellness program. POLICE OFFICER

The Sheridan Police Department is recruiting to fill Police Officer positions. Join our team to help make our community a safe, great place to live. The hiring wage is $26.26 hourly. Candidates must pass a physical fitness test, online examination, an interview and comprehensive background investigation.
