Staff

The City of Sheridan Engineering Department is dedicated to enhancing the community's health, safety, and welfare by delivering cost-effective, responsive, and efficient engineering services. Our responsibilities include managing the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP), which encompasses planning and funding major capital projects. We collaborate with state and local agencies to secure project funding, including resources like the Wyoming State Revolving Fund and Mineral Royalties Grants.

Our department reviews all City infrastructure and private developments, such as subdivisions, ensuring compliance and quality. Additionally, our engineering staff provides construction support across all City divisions, overseeing the design and construction of utility projects before they are handed over to the Utility Department for ongoing maintenance.
