Project Overview
The Loucks Street Phase II Reconstruction Project was determined to be a top priority by the Capital Improvement Plan. This phase of the project includes replacing the existing aged and corroded water and sewer main, valley pans, roadway surfacing and the addition of landscaping enhancements on West Loucks St. between Jefferson and Elk streets. In addition to the new storm drain pipe, 2 new water treatment systems will be installed with this project. Construction will begin on April 2, 2018 and is anticipated to continue through October 2018.
West Loucks St. will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic from Badger St. to Bellevue Ave. from April 2 - July 28 (temporarily re-opening for Rodeo week). Kendrick Park will remain open and accessible via Elk St.
The Design Engineer for this project is EnTech, Inc. The Contractor for this project is Hot Iron, Inc. This project is fully funded with allocations from the Water Funds, Capital Facilities Tax, and State Revolving Fund Loans.
