Special Event Permits are intended for large-scale events that may involve multiple types of special use permits. These events may include, but are not limited to, parades, farmers markets, expos, celebrations, protests, rodeos, fairs, and similar activities. Depending on the scope of the event, additional components may include alcohol service, mobile vendors, street closures, and catering. Event planning must also address parking availability and overflow, traffic flow, and pedestrian safety considerations to ensure safe and efficient operations. Permit costs are based on the type of permitting required and the date the application is submitted.
Liability Insurance may be required for special event permits taking place on public property at the discretion of the City.
