Firewood Cutting Program
In an effort to reduce landfill space being used to bury large stumps, the City has developed a program where Citizens from within Sheridan County can cut firewood onsite.
Citizens must be 18 years of age or older and a waiver will need to be completed. Citizens can take advantage of this opportunity Monday through Saturday, 8am - 4:30pm. At this time, the City Landfill’s Firewood Program is free of charge. If you have questions or you would like to learn more, please phone our Solid Waste Division (307) 674-8461.
